Appointment reminders
Every appointment booked on your calendars kicks off a reminder sequence automatically. You don’t schedule or send any of it — it just runs, so fewer clients forget and fewer slots go to waste.
What the client gets
Section titled “What the client gets”As soon as an appointment is booked, the sequence begins:
| When | Message |
|---|---|
| Right away | A confirmation email |
| 24 hours before | A reminder email |
| 1 hour before | A reminder email |
| 1 hour before | A reminder text |
The mix of email and a last-hour text is deliberate: the text is the nudge that actually catches someone who’s about to miss the time.
What you need to do
Section titled “What you need to do”Nothing. This is already wired to your booking calendars. Your only job is to take the appointment — the reminders handle themselves.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Reminders send from your connected email and phone number, so make sure those are set up (see Connect your email and Set up your phone and texting).
- If a client reschedules through their booking link, the reminders follow the new time.
- Every reminder is logged on the client’s record in Conversations, so you can see exactly what they received.
